Second painted scale model. Made lots of mistakes but learned a lot and also had lots of fun 😄

Revell BAE Hawk T.1 1/72

Out of box, second painted scale model, took exactly one month to build. Base made from styrofoam and card paper painted with craft acrylic. Model itself primed with Gunze Mr Primer Surfacer 1000 lacquer spray can, main color brush painted with Vallejo Model Colour Acrylic Black paint and glossed with MIG Lucky Varnish acrylic gloss. All other parts were painted with Vallejo with craft paint in really minor areas for detail. Entirely brush painted except the primer of course 🙂

Build was good in general, parts fit quite well and good detail in many places such as the cockpit and other small parts. Decent amount of armament is provided but i chose to left then off. Gaps are there when you fit the fuselage halfs together but nothing some putty will fix. Price was around $25 SGD or 16 euros but i got it at a discount for $15. Paint scheme and markings are from RAF 208 SQN but without the tail decals for me as i broke them 🙁

Anyway was a fun build and a good challenge and I look forward to building more models in my newbie modeling journey 😄
