On 3rd April an Argentine Army SA330L Puma, AE504, and an Aerospatiale Alouette III, from the polar research vessel 'Bahia Paraiso', were used to land Argentine troops at Grytviken on the British Dependency of South Georgia, administered from the Falkland Islands but 1300km to the south-east.
