This idea percolated for sometime. Build the legacy Revell Arizona kit, with no aftermarket parts, just paint. Getting the color scheme right was a big goal.
The kit has obvious limitations. What I tried to do was enhance it with some simple detail upgrades and use the kit parts to their best advantage.
In the end, this one will make me smile for a while. This is about exactly what I hoped the kit would look like. Always a good feeling for a modeler.
I hope you enjoy this tribute to the brave sailors of the USS Arizona.
