I don't know if you realize this but your cover photo is of a F-104C Starfighter at the Joe Davies Heritage Airpark in Palmdale, California. Down the road a bit from where I am here at NAWS China Lake. 🙂

I did know this. I took the photo myself. I chose the photo to represent the F-104 in the Century Series collection. As far as the selection of JG 71 for the represented unit, it signifies the foreign sales of the Centuries.
