My Wife’s real, prize-winning 1974 VW Super Beetle

Aoshima kit. Scribed missing body lines/seams. Filled large divot in the roof. Cut-out floor pan “battery box” and used floor & seats from a Revell kit. Scratch built seatbelts, shifter, e-brake handle, front kick panels with speakers. Scratch built door panels, arm rests and window cranks. Photo etch speaker grilles x4. Testors rattle can Burgundy Red Metallic. No clear coat. Bare Metal Foil used to make all chrome trim strips. Future applied to all windows, and they’re glued in with Krystal Klear. Micron .005” ink pen used on door, hood and trunk gaps.
