1/48 HobbyBoss, IAR 80 “White 137”

The IAR 80 was designed and built in Romania. It drew its first blood fighting against the Soviets, and boasted performance similar to the famed Messerschmitt Bf-109E. Even though an early war design, the light and nimble IAR 80 could be a formidable foe against more advanced aircraft, in the right hands. No original IAR 80s exist today, but this wonderful scale remembrance was built by Tomislav Mikojević.
