PROS: Highly detailed model with crisp lines and rivets. Perfect for washes. Most parts have a good fit. Canopy fits very snug and doesn't leave any gaps. Decals are detailed and fairly thin and allow for good placement and set well with Micro Sol or other solutions. Good armament with 4x Sidwinders and 8x bombs. Wings can be posed open (takeoff) or closed. Airbrake can be positioned open or closed as well. Cockpit includes a detailed instrument panel (sand off and use decals if you wish) with a basic bang seat but includes ejection handles.

CONS: Wing fit can be an issue if positioned open. May require special attention when sanding and dry fitting. However, that can change once paint goes on and thickens the part. Expect some frustration. Wing pylons do not have attachment points. You need to place them directly (flat) on the wing with glue making accurate positioning difficult.

FINAL THOUGHTS: Fantastic kit altogether. Lots of detail that will pop when completed, generous decals, and a good overall fit. The wing fit and pylons caused a lot of frustration but once you get past that (or survive it) you're left with a really great looking kit that's not to difficult to build. Most modelers can expect to complete it within 2-3 weeks.
