Thank you Neuling. I've uploaded some pics that show the colors better. Also added a photo of the main paints used. Both the model and the actual car can change drastically depending on the light.
Btw your work is amazing. Puts my poor man's video diorama to shame!

This is awesome! I love the 82 wildcat. How was the kit?

Thank you Kyle. I've added some description to the project which details my challenges, which were many and diverse. I'm in no hurry to do another resin kit!
Your 1993 Lola is beautiful. I hope to reach your level some day. My main memory of Goodyear is 1992 when he started dead last to eventually lose by less than a car length to Little Al. Goodyear is certainly one of the best drivers never to win at Indy.

Why, thank you J, but this Wildcat of yours looks fantastic.
Heartbreaking for Goodyear in 92. My result with the 93 Lola was solely thanks to the engineers at Tamiya providing an excellent kit. Wish they would have done more than they did.
I have the speedway version of that kit now which I'll build as the Danny Sullivan Molson car.
I also have one full resin kit (little Al's first car at Indy) and a resin trans kit to try my hand at eventually, so if I can get those to look as nice as your Wildcat I'll be thrilled!

Good luck Kyle! I'm considering a Titanic model with the wartime dazzle paint scheme of her sister ship Olympic, which would be insanely ambitious and time consuming but potentially spectacular.

Now that would be awesome!!
