V1 - Tamiya 1/48

V1 missile by Tamiya in 1/48 scale. I decided to do something different so I depicted the wings in stowed position. The wings slid on prior to launch onto a tubular spar, which I made from a brass tube. My model depicts a derelict V1 after WW2 where the paint started to come off from wooden wings and also paint chipping and rust is visible on the main body. Painted with Vallejo acrylics and weathered with AK washes and pigments. Model 21 for 2021!
