Lajta (Leitha) Monitor
The Waterline Lajta

A scratch built waterline model of this hungarian made monitor, which was renovated and now shown in front of the hungarian parliament on the Danube river. The model is made out of some resin parts and PE parts from other models, but the hull and superstructure is polystyrol. Not neccessary historicaly accurate, since there were many rebuilds over its 110 years lifespan.
