H.M.S Ark Royal (1937)

Ark Royal is such a famous ship in the UK and I enjoyed the 'classic' Hawker Demon build. Makes a change from planes but the sprues do need a lot of cleaning up in these 'vintage' moldings. Shame Airfix can't clean them up a bit. Love the artwork by Roy Cross. Always inspiring the Airfix box artwork.

I think this is going to be a bit of a challenge. Least of all cleaning off all the excess sprue. Its a little crude but given the age, and the scale, it has possibilities. Inspired by Frank Spahr's superb rendition. Fantastic job. Dont expect to get that level of detail. Hats off!
