Very cool!
I am not protecting my filter, hoping for better suction. Instead, I bought four replacements and lets see how long they last me.

One thing I also did, was I changed the fan. Got a 4,5k RPM one from amazon and it fits perfectly to screw positions.
Connector is not 1:1 but simple to rework. Loudness roughly the same, but less mist escaping by the sides now.

In case someone wish to replace their fan, 120mm x 120mm x 38mm is the size:

Hi Sergei, you can see from my "before" pics that even with the prefilter paper AND an extra post-filter, my rig still had plenty of airflow with the standard fan.

This time I omitted the post-filter (it was a sheet of the white foam from the previous blue/white main filter pad), so we'll see how it runs.

Anyway, I don't see any evidence of overspray escaping at the sides but I'll keep in mind your suggestion for a replacement fan. 👍

Album info

Sooner or later the filter sponge becomes too loaded up with paint, so - time to change the filter!

I use a prefilter paper to extend the life of the main filter, Molnlycke E-TORK, this is a similar product to what is used in commercial booths. I change the prefilter when there is visible paint build-up.
