Looking forward to it. I have a NMF on my list, so am interested.

Thanks Alec. I didn't like the darker tones, so I misted the underlying shades over them to tone them down. Looks much better know, but frankly I'm still figuring out how to add a running commentary. I thought this could be a place to document a build as I go, but editing just limits me to the basic info.

Yes, the amount of text per album photo is limited (about 2 lines I think). The trick is to take lots of progress pics and then spread the narrative among them😉 But, it's definitely different here than other modeling sites. That said, I really like the database and the project/album functionality. It's this that makes Scalemates one of a kind. Happy modeling, and I look forward to seeing more of your fine work 👍

The NMF looks good so far, Tim. In the past I just used a rattle can of Testors Silver, but am also planning on trying to shade the panels. Where did you get the Spit Instrument Panels? I used to have the 3D-Kits .pdf file downloaded, but can't find it now.

@Gordon, the IP are scans of the Hasegawa decal, replicated and then printed via laser printer. I did that years ago when I needed an IP "decal" for an old Airfix Mk Vb kit in which the kit decals had disintegrated.
