Good Morning, Mark Thanks so much for posting the photo's as I have just moved this kit from my wishlist to my stash. Had a look in the box and like what I saw. Keep posting your build as I like the scratch build upgrades you did. Catch Ya, Logan

Hi, this project is momentarily on hold, since I want to finish a simple buil, which is the Minenraumer VsKfz 617. I should resume this build soon, At the moment the tank is ready, but I'm still working on the base, which has alot of scratch building. New pictures will be coming soon.

P.S. have you start building it yet?

Good Morning, Mark I have not started this kit yet and it is a little down the list. As of right now, I'm in a Small Group Tiger I build with a couple of buddies from my model club. (SMAS-IPMS Saskatoon) Working on the Rye Field Tiger I kit number RM-5001. Thanks for asking. Catch Ya, Logan

OH! since you brought up the subject, how are those kits? I'm looking to buy a TIGER 1 early production kit, but a good kit not one that I have to do alot of modifications. At first I was leaning towards the Dragon kits, but some of them are too expensive and the cheaper versions are not that detailed.

Any suggestion?

Good Evening, Mark I have enjoyed building the Rye Field Tiger I RM-5001 kit and in my limited experience, I think it is spot on. Nice little build with the level of detail that is to my liking, as in, it will finish and show very precise. The kit tracks come in a total of 960 pieces with a assembly jig, but once completed give a very good likeness to the real tracks in movement.(It took a bit to get them together due to the number of pieces, but went together with ease) At present, the kit is 80% assembled but I really have taken a shining to the Rye Field Model line. I will purchase another one as the price vs quality is very much in the modellers favour. Catch Ya, Logan
