Thanks for all the likes - this quick renovation is finished. Some of my old nylon rigging is a bit dodgy, but I just didn't feel like trying to fix it.

I built the Meikraft 1/72 short-run kit of the Pfalz DIIIa a long time ago (before 2008!) and was quite happy with it. However I've collected a bit more reference material since then, which indicated that the Meikraft decal sheet and instructions missed some items for the particular aircraft I modelled - a Jasta 16b plane flown by Max Holtzem. That plane should have a black spinner and a black eight-pointed star on the top wing, so I'm doing some quick upgrades.
