Cut off the nose and belly of the XP-47H limited run kit and/or the conversion vac and graft onto the excellent Tamiya kit, checking against plans and photos for position of scoops etc. Detail the intake, rescribe conversion parts, etc etc

No, never even started it. Still in the "mulling over how to best proceed" stage, along with a decades worth of other ideas. I also have a vac XP-47H fuselage but it is cruder so I plan on slicing the MPM kit up. The main problem is there is still a lot of scratchbuilding to do to get a decent ventral air scoop area. I did complete a difficult Ju388J kitbash last year from a Special Hobby kit plus Revell Ju88- you can see it here at the 24:30 mark Youtube Video .
