First a short note on figures. I'm aware that this set is based on famous series of photos. However I have no intention of recreating that since that would involve US vehicles, which is not my field of interest. So I hope I'll be permitted this artistic license and place the figures in different setting. Still during 1944 Ardennes offensive, just different place. Similarly while M-44 uniform is most commonly associated with Pea Dot pattern they also came in autumn Oak Leaf pattern. Since I can't paint Pea Dot pattern well I opted for Oak Leaf one. I also took a bit of liberties with figure wearing US Army poncho and trousers. I think trousers are supposed to be darker but I used different colour, which is still accurate for this item.
In terms of groundwork it's simple building. Since it's not ruin I opted not to do rubble on the ground, just some snow.
Overall decently satisfied with it.
