Continuing the Omer lineage, the LAHIRE is a lightweight NEXT designed for high speed close combat and blade dueling. With high speed, respectable AP values, and stunning PA defense, the LAHIRE is one of the best lightweight units to date. It is also the unit of Collared #1 Otsdarva.

With the main booster's vertical thrust and vertical EN cost decreased to allow greater aerial combat ability, the LAHIRE is also very effective in air combat and it is quite easy to tune it into a perm-flight model (though a change of main booster is advised) . The exterior also appears to be made with inspiration from the 03-AALIYAH and 04-ALICIA, making it seem almost like a work of art, distinguishing it from Omer's previous models, the TYPE-JUDITH and TYPE-KRAKEN.

The LAHIRE took very long to develop. The concept was established early on but multiple attempts were needed to reach Omer's vision for the frame.

Because Omer's NEXTs are designed for aerial combat, the LAHIRE's legs are optimized with stable landing and aerial braking in mind; additional functions like walking were not considered. The legs' shape in turn became distorted from human proportions as the concept of "walking" was irrelevant to the design philosophy. One Omer designer speculates that this way of thinking was taken from Rayleonard.
