Album info

I have huge weakness for early WWII machines and Bristol Blenheim definitely falls into this category. Obsolete already at the beginning of war an largely forgotten, yet there is something about this machine that that makes it one of my favorites.

Therefore, I am really happy to report that Airfix has done a really good job with this kit. No problems whatsoever with the construction, the only step where one needs to be carefull is with the assembly of canopy - any misalignment of the fuselage assembly will create problems when canopy is to be mounted.

Unfortunately, I messed up with the paint job - a sloppy mid-step wash came out rather badly, spoiling the overall result. Still, I intend to build this one at least once more, in Finnish livery, hopefully that time around I will do a better job.
