I stand by my comment 🙂 I especially like the subtle weathering and the figure.
PS: You didn`t use the wire because it is too stiff? In any case all my annealing did not help. The next step would have been to put it in the furnace of VOEST Alpine 😄

I must admit I find my favourite part of modelling is the painting/weathering process. I really admire the modellers who do the super detailing, photo etch etc,but when I try I end up making a mess and losing my patience 🙂

Rally nice, Martyn. The AK certainly paid off, but it is just a tool that needs someone who really knows how to use it. The weathering and finish look great. I have only a few kits under my belt but PE seems to be a poorly folded and supergluey mess for me as well. It is fun to work on the finish to get the most realistic look as possible.
