Built at the same time as the Mercedes 190E. Basic Fujimi kit, stance of kit is a little off with the wheels being too small for the body. Decals went on well considering they were original.

Hello, do you have any tips on making this kit ? I made it about 15 years ago and it was lost in a house move, so I have bought it again. I remember that it needed a bit of artistic license to get it all to fit and look good, and I definitely needed MicroSol and MicroSet for the decals !

Hi Dave, Apologies about the delayed response. Tonight's been the first time I've logged in since March! The kit is very basic and the overall look is a little off; wheels are too small etc but I didn't need to adjust anything to fit. The new E30 M3 Beemax kit looks a lot better. You're right with the decals,I used alot of MicroSol and MicroSet and I think I used a hair dryer for the diagonal decals across the body but they went on fairly good considering they were the original decals. Hope that helps. Good luck.
