Supermarine Spitfire VB Floatplane

First prototype, second version.
Marine Aircraft Experimental Establishment, Helensburg, Scotland, January 1943; Bitter Lakes, Egypt, late Ocober 1943.
This build is a combination this PM-kit and the Airfix Spitfire Mk.Vb (A02046A). Fuselage, wheel doors and tail were adapted, prop blades were shortened and the tail fin was scratch built. Decals from both kits were used.
