New Project up today. This is the old Monogram kit of the P-36A dating back to 1967. The kit is over 50 years old. It's an nice old kit. When you look at the parts they look silver but the plastic is not silver, there is a silver coating over the plastic. Glue and sanding will remove the silver coating. Also the plastic is very brittle. The kit decals still look good but I will have to test them first. I will be adding some details to the kit as it is very basic. Just getting started more photos up soon.

Thanks for the information, John.
I'm interested because I have this kit too and I was thinking to buy the AZ's kit or to build the Monogram's one if this not suposed much problems. Hopefully Clear Prop will even pull one out by taking advantage of the launch of its upcoming H-75.

Cuajete Thanks, I dont know the AZ kit. The Monogram kit is 1967. I like the fix but does need lots of help in the cockpit and wheel wells and rised panel lines. If you can get the AZ kit to compare them. I like adding detail so an older kit can be fun scratch building. I am now doing color tests for the NMF, I will not be using Lacquer or Enamel paints. more photos up soon.
