So, the kid likes Star Wars? Great excuse for a little project.
Fine Molds 1:72 X-Wing, out of the box, Luke Skywalkers Death Star killer. After testing about 10 different grey and greyish colors, plain Revell 371 turned out to be a great match for the fuselage color. Figures. Great kit, thick decals. Too bad FM lost the licence, would have loved to get my hands on the rest of the line.

Finally mounted the wings and the rear end containing the mechanism. Despite my fears, the join didn't crack when moving the wings thanks to a lot of CA glue. Sanding was easier than expected. Maybe the hardest parts are behind me now.

The Decals are some of the worst I have ever had, but then you grow with adversity. I am a bit taller now, I guess. Should be done soon.
