"Sea Sprite" is a quite special Navy helicopter, so I definitely need it in my collection. In 1/72 it is produced only by ClearProp, a new player on the scale model market from Ukraine. Their model is a short-run molding and has a lot of PE parts, so it is quite challenging and time-consuming to build.

I decided to go on with the early variant with bright red fairings. I liked the idea that it was not a warbird but a rescuer. Also white fuel tanks add some charm to it, in my opinion.

Although not everything worked out - some parts were occasionally scrapped, some lost or broken - the result looks more or less satisfying. As you an probably mention, the Fluorescent Red color is a bit light, but the paint I had (Hataka) was quite thin and tough to handle.
