This kit started out as a partially built/painted kit I got from my Dad. I sanded her down and rebuilt her adding a cockpit instrument panel and detailing the nose area which is fully visible under all the glass. That included bulkheads, a seat & an aiming platform to align the bombardier with the site below the nose. I also added fishing line antenna wire and ring sites to the MG's. The decals from the kit were unusable so I "borrowed" some from another He-115 in my stash. The decals represent an aircraft stationed in Norway for use against the arctic convoys and the aircraft is painted in a standard splinter scheme with additional arctic white splinter for winter camouflage.
