Beaufighter Mk.X

I rescued this unloved beauty from a 'failed projects' stall at an airshow, unpainted and in a bit of a mess. It's the Hasegawa 1/72 Beaufighter TFX with the thimble nose and stabilized tail-fin and something I've been after for years, but what with Hasegawa's prices lately I couldn't justify it (particularly as the regular Hasegawa Beau is in the attic). Repaired, painted, weathered, decals from an old Hurricane and a few after-market bits added (porcupine exhausts, drilled gun barrels and some home-made cockpit detail). Loved this project!
