I'm enthused about doing the Swedish livery on this. We're offered that, or Danish. It looks like a decent kit.

Right out of the box, this time.

Also, my first foray at doing my favorite rig since I restarted modeling. I'm buzzed...I get to do both red flashing, I get to do a white rudder and metaltone engine nacelles *with* camo and the tres kewl Swedish three crowns roundels.

Do you happen to still have the Danish Decals? I would like to make the RDAF.....and what colours did you use?

I think I still have the remnant decals, I'll look around. I used MM olive drab and their RLM 02 Grau, their insignia red and satin white. I started with the OD and a 'light gray', as per instructions, but I didn't like it. The Grau was more to my tastes....but then, doing a camouflage finish and adding red flash really don't follow, in my mind. If can't locate them, I just obtained the ESCI 'Montgomery' Dakota kit and it comes with the US 'Camel Caravan to Berlin', Monty's personal craft, and a Danish option. I won't be using the Danish option, as I have intentions of doing it in Coastal Command colors.

Possible to buy them from you?

Yeah, sure. I'm mostly interested in offsetting the postage. I'd hand them to you if you were in the same room. I'm not going to use them.

So...You don't happen to have a set of decals for a Kawanishi H6K5 Mavis, do you? I'm also looking for 1:72 RAF gray and red call sign letters for larger craft (I'm doing renderings of US craft used by the Brits, mostly Coastal Command). I'll take 1:72 Brit roundels for large craft, too.

I suggest we just exchange addresses and mail decals to each other.
