This was an experiment. I bought a lot of aftermarket products, and I bought both the Tamiya kit of the USS Fletcher and the Trumpeter kit of the USS The Sullivans, to do a little kit-bashing. I have to say, the Tamiya kit was richer in detail and easier to put together. The anti-aircraft guns were very elegant compared with the Trumpeter's. Also, the mast was a good bit short in the Trumpeter kit. Still, they were both pretty good. This is the project that has helped me get some new skills with which I can have a go at some more ship kits in the near future.
