Gerald, thanks for sharing your model with us! As Markus mentioned it already, your painting job looks very good!

Gerald, just to prevent some otherwise misleading statement.
Even the Tank, Combat, Full-Tracked: 105-MM Gun, M60 was equipped with the 105-MM Gun.
The bigger and roomier turret for the M60A1 was developed to improve ballistic protection and crew space.
The M60 had an especially developed turret. It wasn't the turret of the M48, as some people have the impression occasionally.

In respect to the Austrian version of the M60A1 I have a question.

1. Did the Austrian Army use the original vehicle light configuration or did the Austrian Army have developed their own?
If the Austrian Bundesheer M60A1 had the original lightning kit, then you had reversed the tail lights. As Italeri didn't mention in the instruction, that the tail lights are different and Italeri had allocated the same parts number for both tail lights, it's quite understandable that modelers are mislead!
Look closer at the tail lights and you'll discover the difference!
2. Are you aware of the fact that M60 and M60A1 have ONLY one fuel filler cap? The left one into direction of driving is NOT correct and must be scraped off! I saw the left fuel filler cap on your model.
3. Do you know that the outward sprocket carrier has three so-called "mud holes"? Adding them is no miracle.
4. Are you aware of the fact, that the driver's hatch is not correct for an M60A1? It's an M60A3 driver's hatch. Best to cut it out and replace it with an one of the old Tamiya M60A1 kit. The Italeri/ESCI one?s replicates the hatch for the passive night vision device!
5. You didn't correct the track adjusting link assembly? All models replicate it simplified and wrong. The Track Adjusting Link Assembly is NOT connected to the hull, but to the first road wheel arm!
6. Why didn't you fill that "terrible" gap in front of the sprocket in the hull? I wonder why Italeri/ESCI produced the hull part with this stupid gap!
