Trying to compare the Graf Zeppelin and Peter Strasser kits in this scale I've noticed that the Trumpeter kit for the latter closes off the windows of secondary batteries below the flight deck.
While this was an idea at the time it wasn't the entirety of it. The batteries were to be replaced with completely different gun mounts. This would require some structural changes and thus the idea was discarded.
With this in mind it doesn't seem to make much sense not to include those guns if they are not replaced as suggested.
I will thus include those weapons in my Peter Strasser project along with some detail up designed for the sister ship.
With this the only difference between the ships will be the superstructure.
