Sweet! What version are you plannin? I did mine as the bird that Lt. Deibel flew in KNIL colours.

I was also planning to do the KNIL version

Go for it mate! I'm sure you'll make it better than mine that you can compare to in my profile. From what I've heard, the camouflage colours that Tamiya gives is wrong n' should be two greens instead of green on khaki. I don't remember it exatly so you could do some research on it before paintin' it...

Thanks! I was told by someone who had some personal connection to the KNIL Buffalo's on a forum that is no more. I didn't know when I built it that Tamiya isn't allways trustworthy when it comes to colours, but it was a sweet build for me anyway. My first ever n' so far only build in 1:48.

As you can see in my build I had some trouble with the masks on the bottom window.

So I'm not alone tackling with this kit. And if the colours you used are different from mine, we at least agree on the aluminium underside and a rather faded look.

Have fun for finishing your kit

So I think I will repaint mine... Now it's time to find an Humbrol equivalent of H303-309

strongly faded and made a start with decals...

Lionel! Look at it from the bright side. You did find out 'bout the colours before you put the decals on it...

You're right. But the post-shading was done and it was not easy for me to start again. Even more ennoying there was almost no contrast between the 2 colours. So I had go find another dark green...

But now it's done and I'll look forward finishing her

Nice job

Quoting Zimmermaniac:
"carefull scratching with a scalpel blade"

Sounds easy. Why didn't I thing of this trick myself? I'll try as soon as I come back from holidays...

Thanks
