SU-122P

Scale:
1:35
Status:
Queued

This may end up needing a nicer barrel - the Model Point one is nice enough, but has both the altered mantlet and the muzzle brake in resin. I’ll test fit an Aber D-25T to the mantlet, and pick up another if it’s a good fit, to get the more detailed turned metal brake.

This one’s almost certainly going to be built sitting on a custom base, since I want to reproduce the “famous” Iwell, more famous than any other SU-122P photo) image that illustrates one reason this didn’t go beyond a prototype - the vehicle going down a fairly shallow slope with the gun, despite being at full elevation, being about a foot away from getting a bath.
