Roland SachsenhoferWith these pictures I begin the article on the first Ju 290, the one that was transferred from Germany to the USA in the summer of 1945. I take the liberty of showing the mixed US and German crew like this: Pilot and his Copilot as Americans wearing US suits. I would like to show this Ju 290 in flight, on a very special display.....
I find the story behind this particular Ju 290 "Alles Kaputt" fascinating!
