Airfix 1/72 P-51D Mustang
Got cement on the canopy and couldn’t quite restore the glass. Lesson learned.
Mr. Color GX2 thinned 40:60 color to Mr. Leveling Thinner. Went on beautifully.
White aluminum for the wings and rudder.
Airframe aluminum for the fuselage.
Dark aluminum for panels.
Airframe aluminum for the fuselage.

Three shades of Alclad: airframe aluminum, white aluminum, and dark aluminum. Got carried away and painted areas that will be covered with red later, but it was good practice.
Going for an imaginary paint scheme.

Markings are a mix from the kit decals—no specific plane is recreated.

Originally planned to use aftermarket decals to build The Brat III, one of my favorite currently restored Mustangs. But this build has ended up with several major issues (builder error) so I'll be using the kit decals and focusing on learning techniques.
