Comparison of Zvezda decal (left) and PE instrument panel. Usually I don't mind decals at all, but this one is really ugly. You can still use it, though, it can barely be seen when the cockpit is closed.

I love that Zvezda includes a pilot and gunner! You can see I did not sand the seams, but it's not going to be visible in the end, so I didin't bother.

Unfortunately the pilot nd the gunner upper torso is about the same. Arms are identical, torso differs just on the back part, only legs (woth moulded in seats) are different.

Nice cockpit detail. Beware the engine intake parts, you should paint them all, a part is visible from below, there's a small window for bomb aim there!

Well, at least this intake will be visible...the one on the back not so much. BEWARE, the instructions don't show this part (A30) as required to paint! Also A47 which is visible from the small window below.

Usually I don't paint and install the propeller this early, but looking at the instructions, I decided I need to do it because the "rod" that holds it (part A27) would maybe be pushed so far inside that later I could not get the propeller installed.

Well, that's a nasty gap between the wings and fuselage.
