The horror of Eduard decals. Please, God, will someone bring standard aftermarket decals for the Mk II to the marketplace. I got tired of this build very quickly after trying multiple ways to remove the carrier film. Luckily, I had some Tamiya roundels from a Mk I Meteor that kept me from shoving this on to a shelf until my next order from Sprue Bros. Interestingly, the Meteor roundels were smaller, so I ended up with a faint halo around it from the hell that is the Eduard decal.

I love this beast. If I find aftermarket decals, I'll snag one of their Overtrees kits and try again.

Great build in spite of the decal hassles. What flat do you use? That's a nice dead flat!

John - Don't know if this is how I respond to questions, but here goes... Thank you for the kind words. I use MRP Clear Matte - WELL stirred. Of all I have used over these many years, it provides the best (aka deadest), almost chalky flat I have found.
