Scratchbuild done on the front of the skids, which were originally a triangular piece of plastic. I made the step from styrene sheet and the support from telephone wire, all joined with super glue. The excess of the vertical skid step support will be cut after glue is cured.

Thanks guys! I was really satisfied with this progress, mostly because I have flown this very same aircraft, FAB tail number 8666 when I served the Brazilian Air Force in the late 80's. This aircraft used to have a severe vibration problem, barely within limits always. No one can find why. That's why we nicknamed it the "Devil's Huey", as its registration has the "666", the number of the beast, according to the Revelations book in the Bible.
