Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. F with PE
Workstation chaos!!!
Behold! The jerry can.
Decided to build another one without the PE. Looks almost as good, and was alot easier to get to this point.
Got some primer on them... its actually pretty hard to see the PE being an improvement in most bits.
Base coat is down.
Applied the first clear coat last night and applied decals today. More clear coats to come once the decals are set. Then on to finish work, details, and weathering.
AK Interactive Ultra Matte through the airbrush is incredible!

DJ FajardoI'm building the same thing. All that PE & plastic surgery.. it was challenging for me to keep grinding to get it all done. I'm finally at the painting stage.

James BarrettGot them primed... honestly, it looks like most of the PE didn't really make too big a difference.

Adrian ForestThe tool/spare wheel clamps and the storage rack look pretty good in PE. The detail on the grilles and anti-skid plate is definitely much better than the plastic.

Mathias DecommereI agree, sometimes it takes much more work to achieve a result that is nearly the same. But it always looks spectacular in "build-mode". Looking forward to your finished models. Are you planning a diorama for it?

James BarrettIts my first attempt at building armor, so not sure if I am going to put together a diorama just yet, though I have been giving it some thought.
