Bone in early camo
Lower fuselage half was damage during process of sealing the plastic bag ?
Only one solution.........surgery!
Offending section was removed, required a lot of filling and sanding to rectify.
Position lights were drilled out, filled with PVA, painted silver then covered with more PVA.
Same process for the wingtip nav lights.
canopy masked (but in the end I painted the windows black).
Ready for priming, along with YF-22 & YF-23 for size comparison.
Camo pattern.
Freehanded the camo (overall grey FS36081 with gunship grey FS36118 underside & green FS34086 upper surfaces) I used AV 71-258/71-055 & 71-294.
"American Flyer"
Decal sheet; in the end I didn't use many of the decals as this build will be relegated to the background.

Let's say this build will be OK placed in the rear of the cabinet! Snapfit kit with heavy details, raised panel lines, more representative of the B-1A's which were modified to B-1B configuration in 1983.
