CH-47J(LR) "JASDF"

I had completed this kit before and was dissatisfied with the results myself. 

So I decided to correct the parts glued in the wrong position and the messy camouflage paint. 

I don't have any spare Misawa Helicopter Airlift Squadron decals, so I carefully peeled them off the fuselage and pasted them onto a base for my own decals. You can use them again later by clear painting over the top. 

I painted the first colour of camouflage on the reassembled aircraft. 

It's not chocolate vanilla ice cream! 

I painted the second colour. This camouflage is a very colourful pattern with four colours on the top and one on the bottom and a very clear border, so it takes a lot of work. 

The third colour has been applied. 

Now that all the camouflage colours have been applied, the next step is to paint the walkway.
If I don't mask it well, the spilled paint will ruin the painted surface. 

This walkway has been painted black around the edges.
I'm gradually getting used to painting the thin lines. 

It painted beautifully.
