Hello Patrick. This is awesome, the cockpit is amazing and the exterior equally fab! I have this kit too to build the 'Meg' but my skills are lacking and i am not touching it until I am confident enough to work with the polished metal surfaces. I'll keep yours as a reference for the future.

@Gary, yeah, even though it's a relatively small aircraft, it is definitely not an easy build, with tricky fitting being one of the main issues here.
As for the metal, I used here a very simple application - base gloss black + AK Xtreme Metal paints 🙂

Looking forward to seeing this completed. A similar P-51 is definitely on my to-do list and I'll surely use yours as inspiration once I get to it.
