Vallejo putty is used to glue two plaster copies of a cobblestone road mould. 

The backside needs to be filled a bit too, just for stability sake. 

The final layout of the scene. 

Filling the gaps is quite a challenge. I think that using this mould for the cobblestone was a mistake... An modular one would have been nice. 

Waiting... waiting for the putty t dry... Grrr!

Dress rehearsal! 

First real use of my static grass applicator!  

Objects to dress-up the scene. 

Not much to add. 

The carrier and it's trailer will come next. 

The paper in the soldier's hand is a real one... 

The pamphlets are a downsized version of the real ones dropped by the Germans. 

The two items on the left are a milk pail. (the other one is a Pflaz E.I cowling) 

A very upset granny is being prepared while other stuff is being finished and weathered. The modifications (or TLC) to the pointing lady are almost finished. 

This lady needs some more TLC to get where I need her to be. 

Did I mention that weathering a kit is the *least* pleasant step in modelling to me?
I always procrastinate a lot before I get to this. The reason is: I'm no good at it at all!
That's why I'm (almost) never happy with the result, leading to frustration, leading to even more procrastination on the next project... Go figure! 

Still a few things missing, but I'm getting there. I guess... 

Of course, the "bush" on the right will be cut to the appropriate size and thickness. 

Some old and some new objects. Need some more before switching on the ol' compressor. 

After the second dress rehearsal... The scenography stands, I got everything I need to tell my story.

Either, there's not enough or there's too much of it. 

The ladies are getting ready, a little powder on the nose perhaps? 

I'm particularly happy with granny's face and hair.
The diorama is almost complete now, once these two ladies are ready, I'll put everything together and that's it!
