Grossdeutschland troops are taking a short break during their push into Soviet Union.
Tamiya Kübelwagen is typical early 1990s Tamiya kit. Very nice fits with minimal flash or ejection marks. I can't say anything about details as I don't know the vehicle in question but It looks fine to me. I suppose there are better and more detailed kits out there but for about €15 this one offers excellent quality/price balance. It's an easy kit that can be put together in roughly 2 hours but care has to be taken to see what not to glue before painting. Shovel and wheels are obvious but also roof, roof frame, seats and engine cover at underside so you can paint engine after painting body, as it's not separate.
Decided to make it Grossdeutschland division as I had decals in my spares box. Figured it's better to use up one set than end up with bunch of sets with couple of decals missing. I opted for earlier Dunkelgrau pain job rather than later three tone one setting it in 1941-42 period. I think it turned out decent enou
