Early T-34 picture (on the picture center) before refer to battle in France in 1944. This picture made in the Lemberg (Lvov) in 1941.

Soviet T-34 m.42/43. Versailles, November 1944. On the background germans D2 tank probably from Kummersdorf collection and lend-lease soviet M3 light tank.

2 SS Pz. Div. "Das Reich" use a few turreteless T-34 in Normandie, classified as "Berge T-34", first saw in Normandie in july 1944. Probably three T-34 used by repair unit.

The photos were taken by Col. J. B. Jarret (US Army Ordnance) in 1945 and they are from his collection at the Military History Institute in Carlisle Barracks, PA. The collection identifies the location as OW Ordnance # 64 Paris.

Tank T-34 being a German trophy in Aberdin tank museum. The machine was captured US forces in 1945. The tank has an additional box on a back part of a board. Tank had a little cross on board

2.SS-Pz.Div. "Das Reich" as utilizing some of its captured T-34s in June 1944 in Normandy. As I understand it, "Das Reich" was one of the few divisions to actually use quite a few captured T-34s, so many that they formed entire battalions of them. Apparently the 3./SS.Pz.Jäg.Abt. 2 was comprised of captured T-34/76c, which saw action in Normandy.
