Upper hull test fitting.
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/7/8/6/582786-33550-24-720.jpg)
Low-poly gun barrel!
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/7/8/7/582787-33550-41-720.jpg)
Grills.... Time to buy photo-etched ones.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/7/8/8/582788-33550-62-720.jpg)
Well, I planned this project as training, so kit was cheap and aftermarket should be also be cheap. Also the problem was that there were no grills-only set at that time. So, here is the fitting. The biggest grill isn`t fitting in place.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/7/8/9/582789-33550-39-720.jpg)
Lower hull. Well, it`s awful. There were no bulkhead, so it`s difficult to glue sides in parallel. Also fenders are not fitting with upper hull and you can see all these holes. (There were 6 main parts of lower hull)
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/7/9/0/582790-33550-10-720.jpg)
But upper hull is OK.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/7/9/1/582791-33550-54-720.jpg)
More hatches... No sense to make them open, because only driver`s hatch have details inside.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/7/9/2/582792-33550-51-720.jpg)
._.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/7/9/3/582793-33550-82-720.jpg)
Tracks. I hope there will be no problems with them.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/7/9/4/582794-33550-92-720.jpg)
And after fittting all grills are in place. I planed to use PE motor plate, but I changed my mind in the process. Also, the hope that the motor plates of the su-100 and t-34-85 coincide completely, went to ashes. The side grids did not fit in heigh....
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/7/9/5/582795-33550-10-720.jpg)
...and the upper grills in length. And for the motor plate I thinned the plastic and the grille fit in after trimming. On this photo I train to imitate the texture of casting. Here is also a mistake in instructions: the "clickers" for tows.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/7/9/6/582796-33550-11-720.jpg)
The idea of moving gun on this kit didn`t work. It`s better to glue it in static or you can use my way.
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/7/9/7/582797-33550-58-720.jpg)
If I`m going to restore movement to gun, why don`t add it to upper armor also?
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/7/9/8/582798-33550-60-720.jpg)
Paper clip and magnet will do the trick!
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/7/9/9/582799-33550-96-720.jpg)
Self-tapping screws. Yep. That`s 5 screws as counterweight. Now gun can hold its position.
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/8/0/1/582801-33550-70-720.jpg)
And after sanding and gluing hull I got this. Not bad.
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/8/0/2/582802-33550-70-720.jpg)
Fine.
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/8/0/4/582804-33550-89-720.jpg)
Could be worse.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/8/0/0/582800-33550-40-720.jpg)
._. What the...I don't know what the engineers who made this kit thought. Maybe "Seems fine, no more efforts"
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/8/0/3/582803-33550-38-720.jpg)
Time to stop and sand all the wheels.

Didn`t know how wires were connected to smoke launchers. Let it be like this.

I don`t know how to wearther models properly yet, but there will be big wheels, so no need to worry about the result.

After highlighting t-34 I decided to add more on su-100.
![Album image #42 Album image #42](/albums/img/9/4/4/628944-33550-64-720.jpg)
And finally, decals. Winter version, so all painting goes to nothing except the experience.

Some chipping.
![Album image #45 Album image #45](/albums/img/9/5/0/628950-33550-40-720.jpg)
Looks fine, time to scratch!

Looks fine, time to scratch!
![Album image #47 Album image #47](/albums/img/9/4/8/628948-33550-11-720.jpg)
Oh no.... Seems like I need to add 2-3 more white layers and do less chipping.
![Album image #48 Album image #48](/albums/img/9/4/9/628949-33550-64-720.jpg)
![Album image #49 Album image #49](/albums/img/5/2/8/631528-33550-88-720.jpg)
Second layer of white color. Much better now! But I need one extra layer, "03" can definitely say it.

I did some tests with acrylic paste and sodium bicarbonate, the result is quite good, but needs some darkening.
