Album info

More or less finished. Wheels will be attached later, when dio groundwork is done so I can weather them properly and in line with what ground will look like.

Snow camouflage was done by chipping method. First I painted entire kit with Vallejo MA 81 "Tank Ochre 1943". Tried AK's Dunkelgelb but it was way too yellowy. I think Vallejo MA 25 "Dunkelgelb RAL7028" is best for this look but I was out. Anyway, painted kit with that, then applied AK's "Worn Effects" followed by MA 119 "White Grey". Then started chipping. While there is still practice to be done I think for first serious attempt at this it turned out pretty well. Did messed up a bit by applying Vallejo "Dark Yellow" wash because it stands out from base paint if used on larger surfaces. As pin wash it's fine but elsewhere it's not. Then some AK "Chipping color" for places that get worn out more. Decided to do snow camo only on forward shield and gun. First because I think it's more realistic and two easier to do and fix if something went wrong.
