I'm glad they don't make like this anymore, the roof, side panels, and interior are terrible. The value of this kit is just $12.00 USD according to The Directory of Model Car Kits (Seventh Edition)

The Corvette kits that were manufactured by Palmer during the 60's were of very poor design, (closer to toy like, or more suited for slot car racing)
AMT 1967 Corvette models (4 released in 1967) are valued between $125. - $140. And MPC Corvette #1-0567 is valued at $120.00 (according to The Directory of Model Car Kits (Seventh Edition)

My first car on was a 1969 Camaro, for the price of $500.00 in 1979, My first Corvette a 1994 base price was just less the $37,000, And now a 2017 Grand Sport $83,700. But the cars are built with more advanced electronics (and power) that makes them more enjoyable to drive.

I had a neighbor that owed a 1968 GT-500 K.R. Convertible, a very rare car. The Shelby's are a low production car, dealers sell them at about a $20.000 mark up over sticker price around here in the Northeast,

Bring the Corvette to West Texas, the posted speed limit is 85, but it's so flat and open, you can open up as fast as you can go ! LOL !

Wish I could, but I need my license to get to work, I've never gotten into the triple digits, I just by the car for the handling and the brakes. (Z07 Brembo ceramic brakes & Michelin PS Cup Tire)
