Dry fit to make the most of it.
Removal of the rear part and HUD of the kit in order to fit the resin cockpit
Finished cockpit looks good. HUD is scratchbuild with use of tiny srap of bare metal foil and a square makde from transparant plastic
All fits well.
Added some weight to be sure. The resin part is not very heavy.
filling and sanding. protecting the raised panel lines with masking tape.
The nosecone is transparent. To make the cameraports stand out more I've used bare metal foil on the inside after painting the small camera windows with Tamiya transparent blue.

Going back in time with this re-edition of the Heller Mirage III-R. The plastic is of a softer kind than in the "old days". The overall fit is not so bad at all. Details are raised panel lines, empty wheel wells and a simple cockpit. The last one is swapped by the nice version of Pavla which also makes for a better nosewheel bay. Furthermore just OOB, and I'm building the French version.
