30+ year old decals. They worked very well.
Black primer basecoat
Intakes & fuselage glued together
Sparse cockpit detail
I forget to add nose weight, so had to drill & drop lead solder bits & epoxy
Plastic plug, read to sand flush
Liquid styrene to fill BIG gaps.
Ready for primer
Black primer base coat
Let the decaling begin!

Bart Goesaertnice progress so far. At least this one had engraved panellines? or did you do these also. At the moment I'm converting Revell's (Italeri's) Mirage F-1C and engraving the panellines...

Kenneth HansonThanks guys! I still have more pictures to upload of the finished model. It did have engraved panel lines, but they are very faint and I had to re-scribe a lot of missing/faint detail, mostly on the fuselage. Parts fit was not the greatest and this kit fought me every step of the way, but I'm happy with the results & it taught me a great deal along the way.
